As many of you know, Citrix took the lead in the bring your own computer concept when they launched their initiative a while back. There has been a lot of talk about Bring your own computer and all the good and bad stuff associated.

Personally i love the concept but i am also aware that it requires a lot from the infrastructure to support this type of solution. But i will say that if you have the infrastructure in place to allow access in a secure way, this could be through Access Gateways like Citrix has done or it could be through another solution, if this is in place i do think that bring your own computer can actually save the company money and give the users a better experience and a greater experience of influence.

Computers and phones have become a part of who we are and i think we will see a lot of initiatives to better support the coming groups of users whom will expect to have the make and model they want as part of their toolkit.
