Hi Rene

This is a "old" known problem and the MS fix is working, BUT what is does is replacing the "iedkcs32.dll" file and there has been new IE7 fixes where this file has been replaced again, with a file which has the 20 sec. wait time again.

So remember to test the login after updating your IE7 or simply just use the ADM template :-)

Hi Rene,

The problem seems to be the the Group Policy "Internet Explorer Maintenance" section "Programs" where "Import the current Program Settings" causes the broadcast delay.

Setting this to "Do not customize Program Settings" solves the problem.

Hi Rene,

Haven't tried the "new" adm files, but it seems cool.

Another possibility is to implement the following hotfix:

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/941158

That did the trick for me ;-)
