XenApp in the cloud.. sounds complicated?

Chris Fleck wrote a blog post not too long ago describing how to get a XenApp server delivered as a “Cloud Service” via Amazons EC2 service. I would have expected it to be alot harder to get started with but it seems Citrix has been playing quite a bit with Amazon to get this working smoothly. If you have 5 minutes i strongly encourage you to take a look at Chris’s blog here: http://community.citrix.com/pages/viewpage.action;jsessionid=a3lu5ymF_k-cMNQJC9?pageId=58196960

This is how easy it can be to get a Demo XenApp server in the Cloud…. and its now :-) … its even cheap, give it a look i will try it out for sure as soon as i have a bit of time to spare :-)

Great initiative, good work by Vishal Ganeriwala and Citrix on this concept :-)

Update:

Brian Madden also wrote about this here: http://www.brianmadden.com/blogs/brianmadden/archive/2009/02/10/citrix-xenapp-in-the-amazon-com-ec2-cloud-is-now-simple-with-a-free-preconfigured-virtual-appliance.aspx
