Green IT, went blue..

So i was preparing for a seminar on Virtualization with a general approach, looking at the Hypervisors in the market, and trying to position the features and the importance in regards to business demands. A lot of people are set on their choice in platform, and are looking to expand a current platform and fear the thought of integrating new solutions into the infrastructure. My thoughts are pretty much that with the management interfaces we have today, why shouldn’t we just use best of breed?

I any case what i did find a bit funny, during my preparation, i noticed that for some reason, the major players in commercial virtualization united on blue as the theme..

… Blue..

…. Blue…

So maybe its time to repaint our Green Datacenters, Blue? I am wondering if Blue is better for the eyes?
